Solvista Health West Campus Remodel Complete
GH Phipps Construction Companies has completed the Solvista Health West Campus Remodel in Canon City, Colorado. Solvista’s West Campus facility was previously a newspaper publishing plant, purchased in 2015 for business expansion. As an established healthcare provider serving Fremont, Custer, Chafee and Lake counties, Solvista Health identified a need to renovate the building to expand services for their community.
Solvista Health had a vision to design and construct a therapeutic, unique, and modern facility tailored to children, teens, and families. Working with architect Keys+Lauer, the project
centered on the renovation of 8,000 square feet to house the child and family team, increase space for child and family services, and improve administrative and support
spaces. “It was such a joy and a privilege to work with the Solvista team, Keys + Lauer Architects and Owner’s Representative Synergy Construction Concepts to transform their facility into a fun and vibrant space,” said Ryan Kessinger, GH Phipps’ project manager.
Keiding Interior Architecture & Design Firm Completes Open-Plan Space for Commercial Real Estate Firm, Schnitzer West, LLC
Commercial real estate firm Schnitzer West, LLC required an open-plan space with enough room for operations, private meetings and a large break area for staff meetings and entertaining clients. The company chose an existing space in white box condition at downtown Denver’s Independence Plaza. The new space was built out
with open plenum above the entry and break area, and new lighting and ceiling tiles installed throughout the remainder of the office.
The heart of the suite is an oversized island with six seats and ample standing room flanked by a kitchen space with stainless steel appliances and storage.
At the entry of the space lies the built-in reception desk and casual seating cluster with high-back club chairs. The main conference room lies just beyond the reception space along the glass side of the office. Another conference room and private offices line the windows further into the suite with open workstations rounding out the 5,450 square feet.
The warm, rich color palette complements the bright, clean lines and simple elements of the space.
