Architectural Design Center | Rio Grande
Architectural and building material supplier, Rio Grande Co. was founded as a fuel and feed supply company in 1893. Today, Rio Grande carries on founding father Elmer Peterson’s legacy by appreciating that business is sensitive, going only where invited and staying only where treated well. Spread across many different material categories, Rio Grande stocks and supplies rebar and concrete accessories, masonry products and grouting materials, brick, stone, and pavers, tile setting tools and equipment, structural steel, soil stabilization materials, safety equipment, and many other materials and products.
The Rio Grande Architectural Design Center located at 123
Santa Fe Drive embodies the company’s desire to build solid customer relationships by offering high-quality materials and best-in-class service. Showcasing a wide range of both indoor fireplaces and outdoor firepits, pavers, stone and brick offerings, and a vast selection of architectural hardware, the design center allows designers and builders to mix and match, compare and contrast a vast array of interior and exterior building products and accessories. The residential hardware section includes extensive displays from Ashley Norton, Classic Brass, Emtek, Hardware Renaissance, Schlage, and many others. The fireplace showcase features nearly 40 burning displays and lines of gas logs, hearths, and outdoor living products. More than 200 display panels help designers, builders, and homeowners visualize brick, masonry, stone, porcelain, and concrete pavers in both natural and man- made materials.
Bison Planter Cube System | Bison Innovative Products
With over-25 years in business, Colorado-based Bison Innovative Products is recognized as a global leader in rooftop chic. Designed for strength and life-long durability, Bison’s unique pedestal paver system allows a solid, architecturally aesthetic deck to be installed on virtually any flat roof in the world. Their modular pedestal paver deck system fits out with concrete, 2cm porcelain, or real hardwood ipê tiles that can be 2’x2’, 2’ x 4’, 2’ x 6’, or 2’ x 8’.
Joining the Bison line of products is the new Bison Planter Cube, a complementary asset made to replace individual tiles within the modular pedestal paver deck system with attractive, irrigation- ready planters. Manufactured from powder-coated aluminum or real hardwood materials, these sleek, modern planters allow natural vegetation to add life, luster, and color to any Bison roof deck.
In addition to the standard sizes, the Bison Planter Cube is also manufactured in 4’ x 4’ units, which are perfect for small to medium trees. The lightweight planters and tiles are easily repositioned by deck owners long after the initial installation. The Bison Planter Cubes can also be topped to become bench seating and storage to allow owners a nearly endless array of configuration options.
Bison supports sales and services of their pedestal paver and planter system to owners, architects, and contractors throughout North America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East from their Denver offices and manufacturing facilities.
