 Parting Shots
Fiore Cares 4th Annual Sporting Clays Shoot a Targeted Success!
Over 180 Participants and Supporters Attended the event
Great hand-eye coordination. That’s what it takes to compete in a clay shoot... and that’s what made for so much fun at Fiore Cares 4th Annual Sporting Clays Shoot at Colorado Clays in Brighton, Colorado. Sometimes described as “golf with a shotgun”, the thrill of a clay shoot requires a wide variety of skills with trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, distances and targets. And it took all of that to compete!
Situated along a cottonwood creek bottom, overlooking Colorado’s snow-covered peaks to the west, Colorado Clays Shooting Park was the setting for a fun-filled day
of shooting, competitive conversation, and friendly comradery. The day started with a spicy breakfast burrito and a hot cup of coffee where friends and co-workers enjoyed catching up and getting motivated for the shoot. Over 180 skilled clay shooters competed for the all- coveted, highly desired title of winner.
The day was peppered with well-planned, COVID- compliant activities. One of the raffles, which wass based on a game of cards where winners choose from prizes including shooting gear, supplies, apparel and guns, was one of the favorites! Participants also purchased squares for chances to win prizes donated by sponsors, business associates, and other philanthropists. “Everybody loves the raffles”, said Debbie Hicks, Fiore Cares Administrator. “They’re always excited for the possibility of winning a really great prize. We work hard to solicit and select items that everyone loves and can use in future shoot outings.” End of day activities included a BBQ box lunch and everyone making plans for next year’s shoot.

Fiore Cares extends our thanks and gratitude for caring so much about those battling life’s challenges and hardships. We appreciate your support.
