Polly Emmons | Editor & Creative Director

Polly Emmons has 18 years of experience in graphic design and business consulting and 13 years as a Software/Control Systems Engineer. She has a keen sense of how photos, images, and design elements complement and enhance the written word. Polly is a gifted designer whose wide range of experience in the A/E/C industry adds depth and new ideas now and into the future of CCD. As the editor, she helps to bring in stories and writers and attends industry events and seminars. Polly is also responsible for CCD’s website design, maintenance, and social media efforts.

Prior to becoming Editor and Creative Director, Polly held positions as a freelance graphic designer for her business CommOcean Media, LLC, was an email marketing campaign specialist at Invite Systems, and was a sporting event publication designer for State Publications based in Minnesota. She served as a Software/Control Systems Engineer for Control Systems, Inc., Honeywell Xceed, and Samuel Engineering.
