Ale recalls, “Then HCC ED Chris Martinez and I were discussing the message HCC was sending by successfully supporting a female in the role of board president but also reflecting on how much work still needed to be done in elevating the role of women in this industry and the organization–the importance of providing a network of support and camaraderie to women entrepreneurs, members, young professionals, etc." Chris said, “before your term ends, we should launch a committee to support the women in HCC.” With that, the idea was born. HCC Women in Leadership Committee was made possible with the buy-in of two ambitious female leaders–Lisa and
Jaime Clark - GH Phipps
With a passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Jaime strives to bring positive change to the A/E/C industry. The past decade of her career as a professional marketer has been in the A/E/C industry, first on the ownership side of an acoustical engineering firm for approximately eight years and
now in her current role as Marketing Manager at GH Phipps Construction Companies.
Jaime is an Immediate Past Co-Chair of the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado (HCC) Women in Leadership (WIL) Committee, Immediate Past President and DEI Advocate with SMPS Hawaii, SMPS Colorado One2One Mentorship Program Co-Chair, Women of Phipps Communications Chair, and serves on the SMPS Colorado Marketing Excellence Awards Committee (MEAs).
An alumnus of the University of Colorado, Jaime holds a Master of Arts in Information and Learning Technologies and a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and Organizational Management. She enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, camping, yoga, and spending time with her two teens and Australian Sheppard. Mindfulness is central to Jaime’s life and leadership styles.
