JHL Constructors New Employees
Laura Hoff joins JHL as a Sr. Preconstruction Manager. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and has over 15 years of experience in the Colorado construction
industry. Her project experience includes a wide variety of markets; such as healthcare, hospitality, education, office, and multifamily. Notable projects
she has worked on include: W Aspen, S’PARK development in Boulder, St. Thomas Moore remodel, Exempla Saint Joseph Heritage Project, Denver Health MOB, 1800 Larimer/Xcel, American Academy, Limon K-12 School, and the ART Hotel. Laura is actively involved in the DBIA & AGC, she is also
the chairman for the annual DBIA Rocky Mountain Region sporting clay tournament.
Tanya Padilla joins JHL as
a Sr. Project Manager / MEP Coordinator and has over
12 years of experience in the construction industry with an emphasis in MEP systems. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science
in Construction Management in 2006. Her project experience includes Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center, Charles Schwab Lone Tree Campus, Fort Carson
TEMF Projects, Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, and multiple SunEdison Solar projects. Tanya’s first project with JHL is managing the $42 million Metro Wastewater RWHTF Support Facilities Upgrade project that includes two new ground-up buildings, two renovations/additions, a new fueling facility,
and associated sitework on an active wastewater treatment facility campus.

Electrical Engineer
Nikki has joined the firm’s Tenant Improvement Studio as an Electrical Engineer. Nikki brings valuable engineering field experience to the team in addition to her experience designing electrical systems. She was the first female from Uzbekistan to graduate from Colorado School of Mines with a Mining Engineering Degree and a Minor in Explosives. Nikki will be focusing on designing electrical systems for the Commercial Office, Restaurant, and Retail markets.
Michael Doheny - Mechanical Engineer
Michael has joined MDP Engineering Group in the New Construction Studio. Michael comes to the firm with extensive field experience as a mechanical contractor and brings a valuable understanding of both the technical and functional aspects of mechanical engineering systems. In his current role with the firm, Michael will focus on designing mechanical and plumbing systems for ground up projects.
Evan has joined the firm’s Tenant Improvement Studio as an Electrical Engineer. Evan
brings with him multiyear experience in wind farm design and electrical substation SCADA programming and implementation. He also designed and assembled the electronics for the Mars Canyon exhibit’s spacesuits at the Denver Museum of Science. At MDP Evan will be designing electrical systems for TI projects focusing on the Commercial Office market.
Matthew Eichstaedt - Mechanical Engineer
Matthew has joined MDP Engineering Group in the Tenant Improvement Studio. Prior to MDP, Matthew worked for WHESCO Group, Inc. and designed PLC based custom HVAC systems for paint booths in the aerospace industry. He also has experience designing smoke and dust collection systems and HVAC systems in industrial settings. At MDP he will focus on designing mechanical systems for TI projects for the Commercial Office, Restaurant, and Retail markets.
