Mike Koenig Named President of StudioHOME Pro Division
StudioHOME by Studio Shed, a pioneer in panelized prefab construction based in Louisville, Colorado, has named Mike Koenig president of its newly launched StudioHOME Pro division.
A longtime leader in Colorado’s prefab and panelized build space, Mike co-founded the company in 2008 out of Boulder and has spent the past 15+ years expanding its reach from backyard studios to large-scale residential and commercial projects nationwide. Under his leadership, StudioHOME has grown into one of the country’s most recognized prefab manufacturers, known for its efficient, no-crane build process and commitment to sustainable, modern design.
As president of StudioHOME Pro, Mike leads the company’s next phase: multi-unit, panelized construction solutions designed for developers, hospitality brands, and multifamily builders seeking faster, more cost-effective ways to deliver quality housing. The new division is already working with partners across Colorado and beyond, with several projects to be announced soon.
Mike has been especially focused on helping solve workforce housing challenges in Colorado’s mountain communities, emphasizing the need for smart, scalable models that reduce onsite labor and time. His leadership extends nationally as well. Recent StudioHOME Pro projects include workforce housing at the Nantahala Outdoor Center in North Carolina, the Nederland Food Pantry and Habitat for Humanity builds in Longmont, Colorado.
