The hospitality studio at KGD provides architecture and interior design services to owners and operators of traditional and lifestyle upscale, upper upscale and luxury hotels throughout the United States. Their client-focused team of architects and interior designers is experienced in addressing and developing brand standards. They keep the goals of owners and investors at the forefront.
Most importantly, KGD approaches hotel design holistically, integrating the base building and interior architecture into one seamless story focused on meeting and exceeding expectations of sophisticated guests. At KGD, we recognize the role of hotels has evolved into a portal through which guests are introduced to and participate in the local and greater community and culture. Hence, we create designs which imbue the hotel with the stories and culture of its community and place.
For the Kimpton Denver Tech Center
at Belleview Station, KGD has designed a new 192-key luxury boutique hotel that is being developed as part of this new transit-oriented development. The new property will feature a gorgeous two-story lobby with connection to a signature restaurant, which is intended to become a social hub for discerning hotel guests and locals alike. Its second floor features a grand ballroom, meeting rooms, and supportive space. The rooftop will contain a fitness center and themed bar with outdoor patios offering breathtaking views of the mountains.
KGD Principal Tom Donaghy says, “KGD is honored to work with Cypress 16, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and Harvey Cleary Builders in bringing Kimpton Denver Tech Center from concept development to full delivery
in early 2024. This new-build Kimpton is the boutique hotel brand’s third property in the Mile High City. Yet,
it is its first lifestyle hotel in this burgeoning market, and it will provide elevated stay experiences and locally inspired restaurant and bar concepts for the Belleview Station development and its surrounding businesses and local residents. Without question,
this project is a wonderful addition to Belleview Station with the bonus of having the best view in Denver.”
