Telsche Jäderlund Joins White Construction Group as Environment, Health and Safety Manager

White Construction Group (WCG) announced it has named Telsche Jäderlund as environment, health and safety manager. Jäderlund brings more than 25 years of construction industry experience, with the last 10 years focused on health and safety practices at a national general contracting firm.
In her role at WCG, Jäderlund oversees organizational health and safety, creates programs, and communicates metrics to on-site managers, ensuring safe and seamless construction operations.
“We’re thrilled to add Telsche to the WCG team,” said Chris Haugen, president of White Construction Group. “We have major projects scheduled to start in the coming months and we’re looking forward to leveraging her expertise,” he added. Jäderlund
is managing safety on all projects, including some of WCG’s current work at Denver International Airport, such as the Plaza Premium Lounge and Concourse B Xcel Energy Vaults Re-life projects.
 Merrick Welcomes New Project Manager, Deron Frailie

Deron Frailie, Colonel, USAF (retired), has joined Merrick & Company
as Project Manager for its High Performance Facilities (HPF) business unit. He will support the firm’s business growth in the Huntsville,
AL area and Gulf Coast, as well as throughout the Department of Defense and Aerospace markets.

Frailie brings more than 23 years of experience in planning, design, construction, environmental, real estate, and lifecycle operations & maintenance. He retired from the United States Air Force at the end of June where he last served as Vice Commander of the 75th Air Base Wing at Hill Air Force Base, UT and supported the Air Force’s second largest installation by population and geographical size.
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science in Architecture with a Building Construction emphasis from Virginia Tech.

Metro Wastewater Reclamation District Elects New Officers
The Metro Wastewater Reclamation District Board of Directors elected new officers to one-year terms at its regular meeting on July 21, 2020.
Scott Twombly is the new chairman. He represents the City of Thornton and served on the board from 2005-2009 and has currently served since 2016. Twombly is a real property manager for the City of Thornton.
Andrew Johnston is the chairman pro tem and represents the City and County of Denver. He has served on the board since 2011. Johnston works for Denver’s Department of Housing Stability as the catalytic projects lead.
Nadine Caldwell is the secretary and represents the City of Aurora. She is a retired councilmember and has served on the board since 2005.
Stephen Gay is the treasurer. He represents the City of Westminster. He has served on the board since 2018. Gay is the utilities operations manager for the City of Westminster’s Department of Public Works and Utilities.
