The Aurora Highlands Celebrates Multiple Wins at The National Association of Home Builders Awards 

Aurora, CO (February 27, 2025) – The Aurora Highlands once again emerged as a standout at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) “The Nationals” Awards, held in Las Vegas Tuesday evening. The community was honored with the prestigious Gold Award for Best Use of Technology for its broker app, in addition to securing a Silver Award for Best Radio Commercial for its model home tour and “Market in the Alley” campaign. As the nation's most significant competition celebrating the achievements of new home sales and marketing professionals and communities, The Nationals recognized The Aurora Highlands for its forward-thinking and community-focused initiatives.

Best Radio Commercial Award

In addition to the Gold Award, The Aurora Highlands also secured a Silver Award for Best Radio Commercial, which highlighted the success of the model home tour and “Market in the Alley” July 2024 promotion. This campaign offered homebuyers a chance to win $5,000 towards a down payment by touring 34 stunning model homes, while a lively local event featuring artisans, food and live music boosted community engagement. A robust marketing campaign amplified its impact, driving foot traffic and excitement, and the award-winning radio spot captured the essence of The Aurora Highlands’ vibrant lifestyle and dynamic atmosphere.

These latest accolades add to the growing list of recognitions for The Aurora Highlands. At the most recent Denver MAME awards, hosted by the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver, the community was honored with several prestigious awards, including Community of the Year for the first time, solidifying its reputation as a transformative force in the Denver Metro Area. Hogan Park at Highlands Creek was also named Best Community Amenity Feature for the second consecutive year, recognizing its awe-inspiring public art installations and welcoming community space. The community also earned seven additional awards, including Best Use of Technology for its broker app. 

Arts & Business Partnership Award

The community’s signature Hogan Park at Highlands Creek was also recognized with the 2024 Arts & Business Partnership Awards by the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) and was recognized with the Arts + Business Connection award from the Aurora Chamber of Commerce. The Aurora Highlands’ award-winning legacy also includes last year’s prestigious Gold Award for Best Community Amenity honoring Hogan Park at Highlands Creek at The National Association of Home Builders Awards, along with multiple Silver Awards, further demonstrating the community’s excellence in design, marketing and innovation.

About The Aurora Highlands: Located between the mountains and the plains, The Aurora Highlands 4,000-acre master planned community expands the metro area to the east near DIA. The community will feature every category of housing from attached to multi-family and single-family residences, providing people with more than 12,500 housing units. The community will also incorporate Colorado’s active lifestyle with recreation centers and over 21 miles of trails, 12 neighborhood parks and 20 pocket parks.
