CMT Technical Services Acquires Cesare, Inc.

Cesare, Inc. (Cesare) and CMT Technical Services (CMT) are pleased to announce that as of March 21, 2022 CMT has acquired Cesare, a Colorado-based materials testing, engineering, and consulting company. Cesare and CMT both strive to uphold the highest possible standards in the consulting industry.

Cesare has been widely recognized as a leader in the consulting engineering industry since the company’s inception in 1987. They proudly help private and public clients with geotechnical engineering, design, subsurface study; forensic engineering, expert testimony; engineering geology; construction materials consulting, research, design, observation and testing. They have been widely recognized for their professional staff and service-oriented philosophy. Cesare continues to accomplish this through the company's technical knowledge and experience, which help produce effective designs, avoid and resolve construction problems and delays, and resolve disputes quickly and equitably.

The acquisition of Cesare is a sign of strength for both their employees and clients through increased scale and service offerings. As the companies unite, their priority is to ensure they continue to meet customer requests without interruption while upholding the highest standards.

The combined businesses will operate under CMT and be led by Doug Watson (President). There will be no change to Cesare’s leadership, management, or personnel. William Caires, Darin Duran, Ian Cesare, Craig Vaughn, Craig Colby, Aaron Bagley, Ryan Zoetewey, and Erin Arndt will become shareholders in CMT and continue to work with the senior management and executive team in their current roles.
