Denver to Build a $120 million National Women’s Soccer League Stadium at Redeveloped Sante Fe Yards
14,500-Seat Denver Soccer Stadium Gets Greenlight from City Council
Denver City Council voted 10-3 to approve several measures to move the proposed Denver Summit FC soccer stadium forward. Items passed include up to $70 million in public funds dedicated to land acquisition, though the majority of construction-related capital will come directly from developers. The public-private partnership aims to create an entertainment-based mixed-use district surrounding the stadium at the Sante Fe Yards site.
Denver Summit FC submitted its proposal to the City and County of Denver in October of this year for a proposed 14,000-seat stadium at 709 South Delaware Street. The plan details a four-story facility designed by Populous and led by project manager Nate Huyler. Valued at approximately $120 million, construction is slated to begin in May 2026 and conclude by February 2028. Transportation plans emphasize access via light rail, rideshare, and walking from the nearby Broadway and I-25 Station, with limited on-site parking reserved for accessibility and operations.
