Stanley Consultants’ Kate Harris Awarded CEO of the Year
Stanley Consultants President, CEO and Chair Kate Harris was awarded the 2022 CEO of the Year by advisory firm Environmental Financial Consulting Group (EFCG). Stanley Consultants is a global consulting engineering firm. EFCG specializes in advising architecture, engineering and consulting firms in mergers and acquisitions and industry conferences.
"We are delighted to honor Kate Harris with the 2022 EFCG CEO of the Year Award, for her outstanding leadership," said EFCG Managing Partner Jessica Barclay. "Kate's innovative approach and out-of-the-box thinking have transformed and grown Stanley Consultants while maintaining a steadfast focus on ethics and integrity."
"I am deeply honored to have been selected as EFCG's CEO of the Year," said Kate Harris. "It is a privilege to lead Stanley Consultants and continue the legacy of our company's rich history. We continuously pursue innovative solutions to our clients biggest challenges with integrity, leadership, purpose and our people."
Stanley Consultants announced two acquisitions in May 2022, one of which was advised by EFCG. It acquired Florida-based Traffic Engineering Data Solutions Inc. (TEDS), strengthening its transportation design, engineering, data collection, analytics and intelligent transportations offerings both in Florida and the rest of the U.S.
Stanley also added Boulder, Colo.-based Resilient Analytics, a global leader in the analysis and application of climate science on the built and natural environment. In alignment with its strategic plan, the acquisition added specialist adaptation and resiliency capabilities, services and technologies to Stanley's current service offerings, and underpins the firm's commitment to providing data-driven environmental, social and governance (ESG) insights, reporting and solutions to its customers and partners.
Harris, CEO of Stanley Consultants since 2017, has 30 years of international experience in the construction, engineering and consulting industry. In addition to serving as a Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors and a member of Women Corporate Directors, Harris also serves on the American Council of Engineering Council's Research Institute board.
