Celebrating Nature: Sterling Ranch Opens Two Exciting New Community Parks

Sterling Ranch Celebrates the Opening of Two New Community Parks!

Sterling Ranch, CO - Sterling Ranch, a 21st-century master-planned community, is proud to announce the grand opening of two new parks in the community. The new parks will feature a basketball court, a multi-purpose field, covered picnic tables, and more.

One of the parks will be nearly two acres in size and features a multi-level playground climbing structure, a swing set, soft surface trails, and a climbing boulder. It also has a 20,000-square-foot multi-purpose turf area for flexible play, covered picnic tables, and other essential park site furnishings. The park is nestled between single-family detached homes and is terraced on a hillside overlooking a natural corridor.

The second park is more than two acres in size and features a basketball court, an 18,000-square-foot multi-purpose field, and covered picnic tables. It sits on the western side of the neighborhood and forms the second entry into a subdivision.

Both parks were developed based on feedback received from our residents on the amenities they would most like to see in their parks. The addition of the new park spaces reflects the desires of residents and provides them with recreational opportunities to live a healthy, active lifestyle just steps from their door.

Another new park, Prospect Park, is scheduled to open in May 2025 and will feature a fully inclusive design, including a pool, playground, picnic areas, a multi-purpose turf field (for youth soccer, concerts, and movie nights), and a basketball court. Upon completion, it will be easily accessible via a network of existing and planned paths and thoroughfares. The playground and pool are designed to be inclusive, providing opportunities for those of varying abilities and ages to play and relax.

In addition to the newest parks, Sterling Ranch has a growing list of community amenities, including:
