Taylor Kohrs Completes Centennial Center Park Expansion

Taylor Kohrs, a Colorado-based general contractor for 40 years, recently completed the 4-acre expansion of Centennial Center Park, an award-winning park adjacent to the Centennial Civic Center.

Designed by Tomecek Studio Architecture and Design Workshop for the City of Centennial, the expansion of the existing 11-acre park includes a new picnic grove and shelters, gazebo, and multifunctional gathering space. Additional improvements and ammenities include new restrooms, landscaped walking paths, recreational green space, and additional parking.

“The expansion of Centennial Center Park ensures current and future generations of Coloradans can continue to enjoy the outdoors and open space,” said TJ Cavarra, senior project manager at Taylor Kohrs. “Taylor Kohrs is proud to help deliver space and opportunity for community members to come together and enjoy recreation at their fingertips.”

The completed expansion project was funded through the Arapahoe County Open Spaces Grant, along with the Arapahoe County Shareback Tax.
