Alliance Construction Solutions Celebrates 40 Years of Excellence

Alliance Construction Solutions (Alliance), a Denver-based construction manager and general contractor, is celebrating 40 years of excellence in the construction industry.

Founded in 1982 under the name Baldwin Construction Inc. (BCI), in Fort Collins, CO; by 1993, BCI had completed Ft. Collins High School, the largest project in its portfolio at that time. A year later, the company changed ownership and started self-performing concrete and carpentry work. The 1990s were a time of rapid growth for BCI, and by 1996, leadership felt a name change would better reflect the values of the company. The rebranding was driven by who they were as an organization. BCI creates “Alliances”, “Constructs the Built Environment”, and they “Create Solutions”; hence, Alliance Construction Solutions was formed.

Alliance increased its footprint geographically in the early 2000s. They opened their Denver office in 2000, and in 2005 Alliance expanded, opening a Cheyenne, WY office.

Alliance recognizes the value of employee ownership, and in 2010, they became an employee-owned company. In 2016, Brian Weinmaster assumed the duties of President and CEO. Brian is a 28-year employee with Alliance working to ensure the company produces a quality product and stays on schedule, while maintaining safety and a solid reputation.

The catalyst for the success of the firm has been the longevity of their key employees and leaders. The continuous growth over the past 40 years created a demand to build a team of construction professionals, and Alliance team members are constantly training and pushing to be the best they can in the industry.

Alliance has constructed over 400 projects, and their projects have won numerous AGC Colorado ACE awards, Housing Colorado Eagle awards, ABC Rocky Mountain Construction Excellence awards, and the American Concrete Institute (ACI) award.
