HOK to Modernize Intrado Headquarters in Colorado

The redesigned workplace will support collaboration, employee choice and well-being for the global leader in public safety software systems.

HOK’s Denver studio has been chosen to modernize Intrado’s headquarters in Longmont, Colorado. The 155,000-sq.-ft. renovation places an emphasis on the employee and visitor experience by providing a new entry procession, an amenity-rich central atrium and increased access to daylight and views. Additional features include a modernized cafeteria, variety rich workplace zones and upgraded technology throughout the space.

“We are thrilled to partner with HOK in executing this transformation of our Longmont office environment to one that inspires innovation, supporting our employees’ well-being, and reinforces the company’s values, furthering Intrado’s position as a frontrunner in our industry,” notes Jason Reese, Director of Facility Management with Intrado.

The renovated workplace will prioritize employee choice and Intrado’s full range of work modes, with spaces to support collaboration and social interaction, spaces for deep focus and hybrid spaces that complement both group and individual work.

“Intrado is an exciting company with a unique mission and culture,” said Ryan Byrnes, director of design, interiors, for HOK’s Denver and St. Louis studios. “The renovated headquarters will celebrate the next phase of that legacy by providing an enhanced experience that leverages the building’s existing architecture— including the large central skylight, double height space and social stair — and reimagines the plan and range of spaces to make the workplace more performative, comfortable and connected.”
