Grand Peaks Completes New Luxury Multifamily Community & Launches Partnership with Denver Public Schools Foundation

New partnership with the DPS Foundation aims to inspire creative workforce housing solutions in Denver.

Grand Peaks, a fully integrated real estate investment firm, alongside Access Industries, today hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Mayor Mike Johnston, Director of the Colorado State Division of Housing, Alison George, District 1 Councilmember Amanda P. Sandoval, and Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero to celebrate the grand opening of the new Skyline at Highlands multifamily community and the launch of a special collaboration with the Denver Public Schools (DPS) Foundation.

“We're incredibly excited to see a larger mix of residential units opening up here in Northwest Denver,” said District 1 Councilmember Amanda P. Sandoval. “Projects like Skyline contribute significantly to the growth and dynamism of this neighborhood, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact Skyline at Highlands and its partnership with the DPS Foundation will have on this community.”

As part of the celebration, Grand Peaks and the DPS Foundation announced that 10 Skyline at Highlands apartments will be donated to DPS teachers, with Grand Peaks providing a one-year, rent-free lease for all 10 teachers. The process of educator selection for the program will be managed by DPS Foundation through a drawing.

“This collaboration with Grand Peaks is at the heart of today’s celebration,” said Sara Hazel, President of the DPS Foundation. “By donating 10 apartments to our hardworking teachers, we are addressing a critical need for attainable housing. This initiative aims to support our educators, allowing them to focus on what they do best—nurturing and educating our future generations.”

Located at 2501 W 26th Ave. and boasting 533 units, Skyline at Highlands is the largest multifamily project in Colorado since 2002. In addition to providing market-rate units, the building will also be home to a 93-room hotel within Skyline.
